Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Summary:
Our jewellery house is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in jewellery manufacturing, along with excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of jewellery production, including scheduling, staffing, and quality control.
- Develop and implement production processes that maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Manage a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure that products are produced to meet customer specifications.
- Ensure that all production processes comply with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that adequate supplies are available to meet production demands.
- Analyse production data and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in jewellery design, manufacturing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in jewellery manufacturing, with at least 6 months in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of jewellery production processes, including casting, polishing, and setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement efficient and effective production processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
